Who produces this site?
This site is produced and maintained by HERO, who also produce the Higher Education and Research Opportunities in the UK (HERO) website and the Aimhigher student portal. You can find out more about HERO here.
What is the idea behind the site?
The site exists as a signpost to relevant organisations and resources in a number of key areas which are accessible from the tabs at the top of each page.
The site contains links to resources for advisers, students and everyone involved in education, training and communities.
These links will help you to choose, finance and support your education, training, lifelong learning, career planning and jobsearch.
How do you choose which sites to link to?
We can't provide links to every site on the web - there simply aren't enough hours in the day! - but we aim to provide links to most of the main organisations and bodies within each area along with useful resources that site visitors recommend to us.

I've noticed an out-of-date or broken link - what should I do?
From time to time you may come across a broken or out-of-date link on a site produced by HERO. We regularly check all of our sites for out-of-date and broken links but the sheer size and scale of our sites, and the ever-changing nature of the internet, mean that you may occassionaly find a mislink. We know how frustrating this can be and would like to say sorry.
