Scholarships

There are scholarships available for students which will help with costs. Hot Courses has a database of all undergraduate scholarships on the website www.scholarship-search.org.uk.

In addition, many universities and colleges also have their own scholarships for which international students may be eligible.

Each year, the HE funding councils make available money to each HE institution to distribute to students in need. These are known as access or hardship funds. UK students can apply for these funds if they are facing severe financial difficulties likely to affect their ability to study. They are available to full-time undergraduates, as well as some part-time and postgraduate students.

Successful applicants may receive a grant or an interest-free loan which they must repay after a fixed term.

For more information, contact the student welfare officer at your university or college.
